Description
The dramatic beginning and ending are quite unexpected for Okabe. Steins tried repeatedly to rescue Kurusu from death, but he had gone through a painful accident that made him suffer a very long time struggling to recover from that failed attempt. It seems that it will take long to recover from the incident, which left a profound impact in his memory. Steins tries to forget his painful past, but one day he will meet one of Kurusu's acquaintances who tell him that he is working on a test for a device that preserves human memories and embodies it in all its details. Okabe begins the test to recapture Kurusu's simulations, and the details of the painful past that brought back all his memories, which he repeatedly tried to forget, but fate did not want.
